 Zamunda coin?

I saw a Zamunda Copper-Nickel coin with Eddie Murphy on E-bay this week. I thought these were only minted in brass. Does anyone know any info on the Copper Nickel version?

I vaguely recall the mention of this coin in copper-nickel; maybe I heard of it from Oded? It's probably genuine.

Indeed, these were made in brass AND copper-nickel.

I tried to delineate the Zamunda coins more carefully in the 4th edition UWC. The Copper-Nickel pieces were given out at the California premiere of the movie. I never saw any of the brass-plated copper-nickel pieces until long after I had purchased the copper-nickel one illustrated in the third and fourth editions of UWC. The gold-plated and gold examples have never been on the market to the best of my knowledge.
Best,
TM

I agree with Tom.

I have seen (and have in my collection) the Copper-Nickel coin and the Brass coated copper-nickel coin.

I have never heard of or seen the alleged Gold or Gold Plated coin, if they really exist.

I have a copper-nickel £5 Zamunda coin for sell on eBay at the moment. Also, I noticed that someone is selling 3 zamunda coins on there now, brass, c-n and gold!
Best wishes to you all, Darren

This coin has been produced in Copper-Nickel, Brass plated Copper-Nickel, Gold plated and Gold.

It is well known that the one and only gold coin was struck as a presentation gift for Eddie Murphy.

I agree. The coins were indeed made in the metals listed above!
