Please cast your votes; this poll is open until the 1st of january 2005!
When voting, please take into account a few things: 1) Our resources are very limited! (we actually do not have enough cash to pay for the ad...)
2) The Bruce Unusual (UWC4) is the largest publication on our subject and advertising there means we will reach the largest group of collectors, with all the pro's and cons of that.
3) The votes of non-paying members do NOT count!

Hello Chaim: We have the funds for the ad. I just sent more dues money and a donation to Oded for the USNS. Ms. Sue Kunkel, Sales Ad. Rep. for Krause was generous enough to offer us a 20% discount on the ad. The ad MUST be submitted to Ms. Kunkel and/or her associate Ms. Patti Roberts by January 24. This is the deadline. We need to get the ad to her, and payment by this date. The UWC 4th will hit the presses in early Februaury. Contact info: Ms. Sue Kunkel email; Kunkels@Krause.com Tel. 1-800-573-0333, Ext. 224 Numismatic Divising Sales Rep. 700 E. State St. Iola, Wisconsin 54990 Ms. Patti Roberts Robertsp@Krause.com Internet ads: Mr. Tom Luba Lubat@Krause.com Ms. Kunkel is our contact not only for Unusual World Coins 4th ed., but also World Coin News magazine, and other Krause publications. Payment for the ad can be sent in via credit card, check or money order. I recommend Priority or Express if by regular mail to be certain of arrival well before Jan.24. The ad itself can be sent via email, regular mail or FAX. The cheapest and quickest is of course email. If ad design is by non-USA member, then regular mail will be too slow. Best if sent by email to Ms. Kunkel and/or Ms. Roberts. If designed by USA member, it can be sent via regular mail, but I again recommend sending by Priority or Express to be certain of arrival by deadline. In addition to the UWC ad, Mr. Todd Haefer of World Coin News (Krause) has informed me that there will be an article covering the USNS on page 4 of the WCN edition which he just sent to press. The March issue of WCN will also feature a classified ad on the USNS, and in all liklihood will be an ongoing running ad in that section of the WCN for months and editions to come. We also have had a generous offer from Mr. John Mulhall of Australia's Australasian Coin & Banknotes Magazine. He has offered to consider for printing his monthly publication numismatic and banknote articles written by USNS members, and to even offer a discount on ad space for articles printed in his magazine. He has suggested articles include photos when possible and be of 1200 words in length. Any member wishing to submit an article to Mr. Mulhall may use the following contact information; Mr.John Mulhill email; bixlives@nsw.bigpond.net.au Tel# +61-2-9889-3766 FAX same website; www.vpcoins.comPO Box 6313 North Ryde, NSW 2113 Australia TEXTStephen

Hi Oded! I will go to Paypal in a moment and become a 5-year member; I think after this ad, we should save up for the USNS coin; I forget who had that idea, but this would be a neat thing to do. A limited-run coin, even more limited than RCC coins, sold only to members. I think the design could come from one of the members who has NOT issued a coin (or plans to issue a coin), like George, me, and Chaim. This would give that other member that thrilling experience (although I think we could all make positive suggestions and contributions to the design along the way, if needed). Just an idea; and if we get to mint a 2nd coin, then a different member could do the design (instead of like the RCC, which has the same designer for every coin, although there's nothing wrong with that, either). Just an idea, for the "far-flung" future. Erik
