Hi y'all,
It was raining here today, so I sorted out my coins. What a joy !!!
I found a NEW VARIETY to the Hutt River Province, Fathers of Baseball - Series "A".
I bought a set of Silver Proof coins, that came with a COA, stating this is set No. 039, and the coins did NOT have the serial number engraved on the edge.
All of these silver coins that I have seen were all edge-engraved with their serial number, and this set is not. The edge is reeded all the way through.
I have numbered this set 132D, 134D, 136D, 138D and 140D, according to George's catalog numbers. George - would you concur?
OdedI have finally gotten around to checking the above against the coins in my own collection, and I've discovered that the set of silver Series A coins I own set is exactly the same as the one Oded has described - ie, posessing a plain reeded edge with no edge numbering. What this means is that the coins I catalogued as 132C, 134C, 136C, 138C and 140C are in fact not a new variety - it is the edge-numbered version of these coins that I was previously unaware of that are the new variety. I will update my catalogue accordingly, when time permits. The relevant catalogue page is here: www.imperial-collection.net/hutt_river_coins_04.html

I may be thick, but I did not understand your reply.
I have two types - numbered (all is reeded, except for the area that has the number) and un-numbered (reeded all the way around).
Therefore there is a "D" variety.

It's just semantics.
The only silver set I've ever been aware of are the ones with the plain reeded un-numbered edge - those are the ones I catalogued with "C" numbers years ago.
The "new discovery" for me is the edge-numbered variety. Those will be catalogued with "D" numbers.

George, It sounds like it needs to be reported to Krause for listing in a new edition of 'Unusual World Coins'.
