I was told there are 2 more differently colored denominations planned. Really? wow they must be really busy making these coins. ~~ Does anyone know who actually produces the coins for Molossia?

I never asked the president, but I do know there are several different companies that produce plastic chips. I've seen many on the internet, and there's even one that advertises on TV here in Las Vegas (The Gambler's Store). I guess lots of people who like to play poker get their own individualized/monogrammed chips. But in the case of Molossia, the chips themselves are blank (except for the designs around the rim), which means they could've come from even more sources; even a yard sale for all we know. So it's really the stickers that he puts onto those chips that make them come alive. Pretty creative, I think. I'm really quite fond of them.

I forgot to add that the President had said he was pleased with the company that printed the stickers- so I assume that he personally adheres them to the blank chips.

If they are just stickers wouldn’t they just peel off in the near future? And the company must do a really good job of printing the “stickers”.

I guess that was a rhetorical question; I don't think the stickers will necessarily peel off by themselves, especially if they are stored in a humidity-free environment- so don't leave 'em in your garage or back porch (I do know of a collector who stored his coins in his back porch, so it's possible). I guess it all depends on the type of glue that is used...I'm sure they'll be ok. They'll probably outlive us all (sticker included), which is pretty good for a $2 coin.

Well I live where its 100% Humidity and your skin sticks together once you get here. Yeah $2 is really good for a poker looking chip and hey I’m going to Las Vegas for my 21st birthday so I might “Play” with the coins from Molossia and see If anyone can tell. But I would never do something like that. .

LOL!! I'll watch the nightly news to see! I saw that ad on TV late Sunday night, for the place that makes chips, and I though about this message thread. The name of the place is The Gamblers General Store.
